    They work nicely together. The blue picks out the blue in the panel.

    They are fine - the blue swirls in the panel reflect the ones in the border.You could applique one or two trees/snowmen or stars in the border if you really think it needs to be more integrated, but the blue makes a nice frame.

    It's lovely!!! The border looks like falling snowflakes and the swirls like snowflakes being blown about by the wind You've got those swirls in the panel too so it looks like those 2 fabrics were made for each other.
