you put so much work into this bag! It would make a great weekend bag. I would maybe make something smaller, or even buy a little something and put inside of it for a surprise and let dd decide what she will do with it.
She might plan a trip if you give her tickets to something or gas money
I looked inside and saw all the love

You did a great job on this purse and it has so many wonderful places to put things. You could make or purchase something your DD wants but also include the purse. When you travel or shop great bags can be very helpful.

I think you really should consider this.
Have you seen some of the bags in California on the arms of the "elite"?

I recognized the half dresden plate & I think you're talented to have "winged" the rest of it, great job! It's perfect for dressing up or down & your daughter may absolutely love it.

I think it is a really neat bag! If you think she would not like it, why not try selling it? I really like the colors you have used and the size. And your sense of humor is great! LOL!

Not knowing your DD, it's hard to be certain, but even if it's not her style, she'd have to admit it's beautifully made, and so upscale and current looking, while also having the advantage of being a color that would go with everything. It's really special looking, and functional, as well. If your daughter carries it once all her friends will freak out when they hear you made it. Don't be surprised if you start getting calls for orders!

I love it...stylish and simple. I am the kind of person who likes a bag to be subtle and fairly "dressy". Totes on the other hand can be a bit "wilder". I think some of the heavily patterned/coloured bags limit the times you can use them...but that's just me. Anyway, I think she will love it.

IMHO, this well made and well thought out bag could use more color. If the construction allows, perhaps a vivid raw edge applique of her name? On the other hand, perhaps it is perfect for your sister as it is.
