    Interesting that you mentioned Gee's Bend. I lived in Alabama for a few years. I read about Gee's Bend quilts. I am enthralled by the organic feel about their quilts too.

    Thank you everyone for your interpretations. It is amazing to see that the same image evokes so many different feelings and interpretations.
    I don't know if I could call this an art quilt, but art/beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder. Thanks again for you encouraging words
    I will try to post more. I hope there is no rule about posting older quilts which I made some time back.

    it's lovely regardless of the image intended; I think it is a super quilt and a great way to use up fabric without enough to do a whole quilt -

    Before I saw your revealing post, I saw a forest, from inside a building looking out thru the window. The horizontal lines were the window panes. I was close.
