I have finished both sides of this quilt for my step daughter and I need to know what you think I should do for backing? I have a dark green fleece (the really thick kind) or I can get some dark green or whatever from the store.

Is this going to be the top, when it is sewn together? I'm a visual person, so I see that the bottom looks uneven. you may need to raise that piece up a bit. I know you probalby see this already.

Looks like you have a great portion finished. You may want to get a sheet for the backing, I have been using those. I have even used flannel sheets, they have a great feeling to them! Enjoy.

Yes, this is the top after I sew it together and yes I plan on adding more black at the bottom so that they are even.
Thanks for the suggestion, what color of sheet would you use?

what I do is take the quilt to Walmart, go to there 200 count sheets sold, be sure you grab a flat.
measure your quilt so you don't have to wonder the size.
they have the measurements on the package.
They have a lot of choices, but I would go dark.
    Enjoy this process.

I would just sew that lower left section up to meet the bottom of the other side, 4 inches or so. Then you won't need to add that black.
