    Default What do you think???

I need your input ladies..... Some time ago I was able to get for a decent price most of the leftovers of a craft shop which closed a few years ago, there were FQ, yardage, remnants, unfinished project, etc. too. Amongst them I found this unfinished quilt top, it had some pieces already sewn together, others just partly and finally after quite a bit of twisting and turning and a bit of unpicking I managed to get this together (I think there were also a few pieces missing... ) I had to add an extra couple of borders to make it comfortable enough for a lap quilt. Now I'm debating on the binding.... Should I make it in the same red as the small border (although I think it would take away from the middle pattern) or I have some of that fabric which I bought and used for the larger border left, or I have some bits and pieces of other fabric in different shades of blue, with small flowers or batik, and sew them all together to make the binding orrrrr....have you got another colour idea I could use????

Personally, I like to use the same fabric as my last border to bind a quilt. So of course, that is my suggestion for this quilt. It is a great pattern. Glad you finished it.

I think the red would frame it nicely. Love your quilt.

I'm with Marilynsue, but I also think the red would be a nice finish. Love the pattern, and great fabric choices!

I also would use red as a border.

Another vote for the red here... lol. Although I think a medium/dark blue like in the blocks would look good too and make those stand out creating an illusion the secondary pattern is more prominent in the design.

Love the quilt. Like it just the way it is, I would bind it to the back.
