    ditto what #1peicemaker said. You are doing a great job and if you add much more border it won't be a lap size.

    Very nice what you have put together and think it is about the right size for a lap quilt. I would go with a narrow border then a wider one. I was thinking a dark purple or darker green for the narrow border. Then you could do the something with what you have left for a pieced border. If you did a cream 2nd border maybe applique some flowers and vines.

    How about a dark lavender or purple framing border and then a floral outside border in the fabric you used. I love how fresh it looks.
