Please let us know if you decide on a raffle as I imagine there
would be a lot of response of members with a dollar and a dream. Couldn't it be posted with info in the for sale section and it`s for a very good cause.

I donated 4 quilts to a church in my neighborhood just last month. They had a raffle and the cross quilt brought $2200.00 the Black and white brought 450.00 the brown 275.00 and the blue one 250.00. So you might take it to a church at those prices you could half the money with them. That would be much better than $5.00. The cross quilt is on the board today.

My cousin just finished LAing a cross stitched quilt not as big and her client was auctioning it for their church with a starting bid of $500.00. Gorgeous but not as big. I would be careful leaving it out in the open. Atleast add a few zeros to it. No less than $500.00 People don't figure time/labor and material. It is gorgeous!

I'd be really surprised if you got what it's worth on E-Bay. It's really sad, but due to financial difficulties, I've seen people listing quilts on E-Bay that are heirloom quality and expertly hand-quilted. They rarely get anywhere near what the quilt is actually worth to a person who has any clue how much effort is involved.
