I am thinking about copying the one I saw the other day with the lions and leopards with lots of green.

I have one in progress that I call "Pipe Dream". Will send a pic when the top is done.

That is so cute!! Be sure to post a picture of the whole quilt when you are finished with it. I really like how you fuusy cute the circus animal and made it the center of your star block.

I'm working on a cat quilt for my cat. The top has been languishing on the dining room table for a couple of weeks while I decide how I want to quilt it. It's time to move along though because I want to start a quilt for my mom for a christmas gift.
That is a really cute quilt and your cat is going to be purr-fectly happy with it!!

Your split 9 patch intrigues me too. I love the colors you are working with too-really striking.

Lee, why don't you show us what you've done so far? We would love to drool over your flower garden

thanks for the comments everyone. Bevanger the block is just a variable star, with my fabric in the middle square.

I am including a pic of the design....As soon as I get the rest of the stars done I will add a pic of the real thing.

Of course the fabrics are a little different, but you get the idea.
