I taught my daughter inlaw how to quilt and finish the top of my Aunt's quilt with the scraps and a few pieces I had.

My daughter inlaws first quilt. She was here to wait out the storm

My back is very, very sore today. I did most of the pinning for her on the floor...I know better than that. Good thing I have a desk job. That is where I stayed for the whole day.

Great way to endure the storm. What a fun way for you and your daughter in law to get to know each other better. AWESOME

I love doing projects when I have company...so much nicer than just sitting around gossiping.

Your DIL did a great job. Is she hooked now? Love both quilts.
