Thumbs up this is what I did with my $3.00 jelly roll

I decided to make my jelly roll into log cabin blocks and I got nine blocks from the 1 jelly roll. I fussycut the flowers from another piece of fabric for the centre blocks the first picture is of the log cabin block the second is showing 4 blocks and how I will put them together.

Nice - I've wondered what a jelly roll would yield for a log cabin! With 9 blocks, are you going to do 3 x 3 or ? Would love to see the top both before AND after quilting (hint hint!) Thanks for sharing.

I am going to do a 3 by 3 not sure if I should put a wide border on it or not as it won't be very big and I would like it to fit at least a double bed if not a queen, when I sew them all together I will post it again with measurements and see what people think, I may have to try to find another jellyroll that is similar.
