I was thinking the same thing as zyxquilts. You could alternate some simpler blocks with those beautiful blocks that you have done. Either way, it will be appreciated and it is a real beauty.

    I like Rescue in Red.

Thank you all for all your great comments and suggestions. Had to stoke the fire and couldn't go back to sleep so at 2am I was cutting more material for more squares  Looking at the white it looked like snow hitting a window, thought of Snow Fire. So many decisions :D

Quilt police need something to talk about  Anyway, this said easy and I thought simple sqares and half triangles, looks good to me...........ugh. It isn't all that easy and not quick at all. Have to have this done by the middle of next month. Four squares make one block and I need nine blocks. Had wanted to make it larger, not now! This represents 2 days of cutting and sewing, hope I can make it in time :D Also need to come up with a name for it. Last 2 were "Dawn's Fire and Ice" - Blue and white with some red prairie points inserted. Then did "Hearts 'O Fire" - Red, pink and white with a couple of red wonky hearts appliquaed.
    How about "hook and ladder"
