    ok, I have a question. selvages are only about 1/2" wide... if you take 1/4" seam on each side.... = a seam?????
    HOW"D You do this???!!!!

    Thanks for all the encouragement!

    No quarter inch seam, Leota. I just lay down a selvage (usually on a foundation) and lay another selvage over the raw edge of the first selvage. Sew along the very bottom edge of the second selvage so the raw edge of the first selvage is covered and sewn down. Continue the process until your foundation is covered. If you need some pictures, let me know. It's really easy.

    Very creative! Makes me want to cut the selveges off my own stash and make some of these things. I love the little cosmetics bag. :)
