Same here......DH is retired which means were a couple with not a lot needing doing.But,still...I never seem to get too much done,quilty wise.Maybe I spend too much time on here,when I should be sewing? That sounds about right :-)

I dont sew with mine , my veggie growing husband steals
all of them for his gardern great for tying up tomatoes
, beans, peas, etc it keeps him busy , I dont think we have had a meal in the past 3 years that has not had something in it that he grew, our grandies love coming to explore Poppies jungle and pick beans .

mimisharon, I usually cut off 1.25 to 1.5 inches because I love seeing the fabric print too.

Thanks Chele! Now I feel bad about tossing my selvages! From now on, I'm keeping them. Going to print out your pics too. (Just for inspiration, ya' know?)
