    I fold and roll my big scraps. I've been using selvages to tie the rolls together. Maybe I need to rethink my use for selvages.

    I save mine, cut only 1/2-5/8 inch, for tying up boxes, rubbish, tree branches, ripped up carpeting, anything containing several items. They are sooooooo strong and do not break (warp and weft is in that selvage) that I have a few in my car trunk in case I need to tie something or hold the trunk lid down while traveling. I do like the quilted selvages, tho. Nice!
