    I just LOVE the things you've made with them.
    When you cut off your selvages, how much actual fabric do you leave on? Would it be just the usual quarter inch? Or more? 8-)

    Oh my, when I think about all of the selvages I have just tossed out over my 50 yrs of sewing. I want to weep !!!Made all of the clothes and formals for 3 daughters over the years. I have just started quilting in the past 2 yrs. and am loving it.

    I have just started saving my salvages. I think of all those i have thrown away.

    How wide do you cut from the selvage edge?

    I usually cut 1.5" from edge. If I have to, I go to 1.25".
