As a few of you know, I've been Dx: Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.
Bluestarmom had a pattern for caps, I was told by Dr. I would loose my hair. Bluestarmom said she would send me the pattern and some material for the hats. Well, a wk later, I was @ the Dr's. office and He said that my Chemo had been down graded and I wouldn't loose my hair, YEA!!!! bluestarmom had already sent the material. I wanted to send it back but she said no. It would hurt her feelings. I felt terrible!! I didn't want someone to think I took something under false pretenses.
I came up with a way to pay it back. There an organization that helped me pay for my port for chemo. I'm making the quilt and giving it to "The Cause" [ worldwide] to auction off for money. DH and I are buying the batting and the back. They help alot of people out, over 700 familes in the last month. They go by donations from the area. The president saw the quilt and just loved it!!!!
Bluestartmom, I hope you like this???? A millon "Thank You's"
I still have to put borders on and then I'm going to "hand-quilt" it. OH!!! your name will go on the back of quilt too.
This is the 10 min block. I used 9in. blocks.
