well now, how far is Gonzalez from Odessa?

Oh dear, too far...even for Texas standards! I know we don't mind driving a bit...but I'm over an hour south of Austin and you're in the Panhandle, right? That's a bit of a commute for a quilting lesson. Guess we'll just have to stay in touch on the board. This is a great way to meet quilters. I'm such a newbie but I'm learning so much and being so inspired by all the work that I see others doing. :-)

no not in the panhandle, i'm about 140 south of Lubbock, right off I20 on way to El Paso, but about 280 mile east of El Paso. yep but still too far for quilting lessons.

Both are beautiful. Love the little flowers on the tabletop. The bargello is a pattern that someday I would really like to try - I think they are beautiful.

Did you embroider on the top, the flowers? What a cheery tablecloth! I need to make one like this. Loved the bargello, I want to make one some day.
