So, I've got 6 squares together,,I noticed that one side isn't just right, so will rip, rip, rip and fix it...
But, I've seen attic windows that have like a border around the "window" part of each square.
    What do you think?
I LOVE IT...... I think your doing an awesome job

I'm with lfw045, It needs the frame to bring out your soft colors. Very nice job Terri.

The "girls" look very cute all together! I love the attic windows treatment. Sashing will frame everything very nicely. And a floral border? :D Can't wait! Sunbonnet Sue is such a classic and you've given her a little twist.

Ok how about this, What ever you get for your outside border, pick a color from it, and use a tiny print (or something that reads as solid) of that color for your sashing. Wouldnt actually have to match your pinks, maybe contrast with them. Oh and I am thinking darker because the one pink is already very light and would be hard to get much lighter than that.
Just a thought dont know if it will help but there it is.

I agree Terri, you need another border to make the windows pop. It should be something that reads as a little bit darker solid. The floral will be nice for the outside border and I love your embellishment idea for the special little girl. She will love the personalization!

Its looking good so far..keep going!

Terri do you want to keep with the feminine look? Do you think the little girls might like a deep purple or burgandy? and remember the sashing should be narrower than your attic windows and not stop under any window. Look back at the posted picture of the attic window. they used an almost white color but everything else is bold and dark. Use your color wheel and pick a dark color opposite the pink. Or use a color from the border print as mgshaw suggested. The girls are going to love it. Did you think of making them a bonnet to go with the quilt? It is gorgeous so far, can't wait to see what you decide.

    Terri,
I'm with the others. You need contrast to make this really pop.
Pick a floral border, and something like a purple or lime/green for the deep sashing.
This looks so good, you are doing great!

    Do you have another wip?
