These are dolls I made from very old, falling apart quilts. They were Christmas gifts two years ago.

Your dolls are great! You should make some more. I bet others would love buying them made w/the cutter quilts. The cosmetic bags are very nice too with the lunch sack! Great job!

I tried to sell a few, problem is everyone wants one, but they don't want to pay the price. I used them as gifts to people that really appreciate that kind of thing.

The bags are really cool. When I look at the dolls, I think about all the people over the history of those quilts who touched the quilts and maybe left a little of their 'energy' in the quilt. They are more than dolls, they are an honor to the original quilter. I wonder if, some day in the far future, someone will make something out of the quilts I make. I hope so.

Your bags are wonderful, and I love the quilt dolls!!!! Did you use a pattern for them, or just make it up as you went?

It's very hard for me to cut up a quilt, bc I think of all the work I put in a quilt. I find my self apologizing to the quilt I'm cutting up.
