I am working on quilting some tops that were made by my grandmother, great grandmothers that were given to my Aunt when she graduated from High School in 1942 or 1943 and I have one that I do not know what the pattern is called for this applique'. Can any one help?

It is not in the best of shape but I am trying to save it the best that I can. Was so dirty when I got it, had to wash it before I could even handle it. It will be okay when I get it done and at least it will be finished.

I don't know if there is such a pattern or not, but I think it looks like 'Windy Sue'.

I have seen that in a magazine, but it has been awhile and I can't remember how long ago or what mag. It falls into the "sunbonnet" family, but the doll has her own name. I'm not at home, or I would try to look it up for you.

Take good care of it. I had one that I picked up at an estate sale in Hamilton but when we had the fire at the old hospital I lost it. Yours is only the second one in that pattern that ive seen. Going to watch this I'm curious what the pattern is also
