    I also found this in my SIL's stash. Does anyone know the name of this pattern?

    Oh my goodness. I was so wrong. I thought it was a snowball pattern. Oh well, just goes to show how much I still have to learn!

    Your SIL did beautiful work! I love this one too (as well as the Grandma's Fan you posted)! I agree it's a bowtie. Making a bowtie is on my 2013 to-do list
