This is quit pretty - great job! Depending on a number of factors (sale fabrics, "likeability" of prints available), I'd do TWO borders (an inner and an outer). Since you have a lot of pastel with accents of dark green, I'd use a medium-scale medium-green floral print with pastel accents to softly bring out the pastels, and a dark green for the outer border (large scale or medium scale). It'd be a gradual color lead from the center out, make the colors pop nicely, while accenting the dark green units. (Just my opinion!!!)

It's truly a lovely quilt & you should be very proud of your "first" effort. A couple of borders wrapped around it will do wonders, you'll love it! We are all our own worst critic!

Beautiful! I might try to find a yellow and dark green to coordinate with these two colors in the quilt. I would use the yellow as an inner border and use the dark green as the outer border. By adjusting the width of the two borders (they don't have to be the same width), you could add several inches to the width and length.
Please don't give up on it. It's very pretty.

You should finish it put a decorative border and the a floural larger border. It is a beautiful quilt and you should finish it no matte what size it comes out.

I had to take a look at you because my granddaughters name is Leah Stewart and I didn't think she quilted. She doesn't since I know you aren't her. By the way I like your quilt. Put a 2 1/2 inch (cut) border and then a 4 1/2 inch cut border on it. I would do the yellow and green with the green on the outside as a darker framework, even if it isn't real dark, it is darker than the yellow. Jan Stewart

I would make a bunch of coordinating 9 patches to use as a checkerboard border, then perhaps a plain print border, and maybe a piano key finish.

My father always said when you are learning something new, perseverence is as important as being great at the task. I think you have been successful at both.

    My suggestion also.
The dark green border would "stop" the eye and as lutTooQuilt said..."....frame the quilt")

Whatever you end up doing, the quilt is already lovely - I like the fabrics you used. It will be beautiful.
