I would choose a dark green border it will frame the quilt nicely . you have done a great job.

I agree - a dark green 2" inner border would "stop the action" and then a pastel print that works with the rest of this beautiful quilt!

I think your quilt is beautiful, the colors really work together, and your ideas to increase it sound great, I say go for it. Good luck, it will be beautiful when you finish it.

I like it too and I would go with the dark green or a deep dusky blue since you have lots of blue in it :)

I love it. I would put a small inside border of the dark green to frame it and then a pretty pastel or the flower print the outside large border. I really like it..

Wow--you have great color stuff going on. If it really really needs to be bigger--I think you could easily find a fabric that matches--it's so delightfully scrappy. If you can live with a double--use it for a cuddle quilt for the couch.

Either way--it's a quilt to be proud of!!

Beautiful job and borders would fill your order for a bigger size.

I think you have done a very beautiful job,. I like the thought of maybe about a 2 inch dark green coming back with a light green to make it your size. maybe trim in the darker green. I really like your colors. Not sure if I'm seeing green in your quilt or dark blue. which ever is what I would try to match up. First quilt you say. you sure had me fooled. :) :) :)
