The one that you have laid out is really nice. I would just make more scrappy quilts and use them as donations.

Have fun using up all those pieces. Looks like a lot of quilts to be made!

I will use them as quilts that we give away. In the past I made two colored scrappies and they were quite pretty.

My first one will be the charm quilt with all different squares. I went through 4 of the 5 boxes yesterday and found close to 500 different fabrics.

Then, I'll try an Irish chain with just blues or blacks and then try the double Irish chain using the scrappy look. I've never done Irish chain with such large blocks, so I'll try one. If I like it, I may make more. Besides that you all have given me many ideas. I think I'll keep a file folder and put my pictures in it of what I do. At a later date, I'll try to find this thread and post what I did with a lot of these blocks.

Make charity quilts for your guild. This is an excellent way to practice FMQ.

Since I'm alittle on the OCD side I could not live until they were sorted by color and into seperate storage boxes. Then I could just pull down the box I wanted and start a project. (The OCD side of me would also sort the colors dark to light  )
