I have this same machine! I bought it new in 1974. When I upgraded I gave it to my mom. It is in the cabinet that daddy bought her in 1952. I've had it since she died in 1987.

I know she will love it. I sure would if my daughter bought me that beautiful machine.

I have an old Kenmore that I bought new in the late 70s. It still is one of my favorite machines. I have promised it to my son's family, but...guess I'm not in a hurry to see it go.

I bought this machine new many moons ago and it is the one I rely on. I have a newer White, a Singer treadle and my latest purchase a FW. The FW is being oiled etc. at present so I am anxiously awaiting my first chance to use it. I think you got a steal for the Kenmore.

I've had a very similar Kenmore since the late 70's. It's my spare machine and it is great for piecing. I'll never get rid of it.
