I only have one quilt that I need to make for Christmas since my husband and I decided that when I finish a quilt I will give them it as soon as I am done for a whatever gift...not a birthday or Christmas gift. That way they will not feel they owe us anything and its a one time gift...unless its for my own children and their spouses and someday grandkitties. I only had one that I need to do for Christmas this year...I am going to be making a Aiice in Wonderland quilt for my future Daughter inlaw.

I am making aprons, pot holders for the girls, I make pjs for everyone (14) and pillowcases to go with them. I don't buy paper to wrap gifts. Pjs and gifts go in pillowcase for each person. Also have been making American girl doll clothes for my gdds (4) and have 2 baby quilts for newest grandbabies.

I have a quilt to make for a gift too.
I like your sew baby pattern especially.
What pattern are you using for the trivets? Love them.

it is a pattern that I bought at www.quiltedgarden.com
Here is a picture of what I made so far. I like the quilted insulated material, makes a thicker nicer trivet I found.

3 quilts: 1st a raffle quilt for work (proceeds to go towards our adopt-a-family). It's a strip pieced tube quilt and should be ready for the longarm tomorrow.

2nd: a D9P in purple batiks for my DD who is moving into her 1st apartment this weekend.

3rd: a Suess' Grinch quilt for my parents. I have several 1/2 yards from the product line; haven't picked a pattern yet, any ideas?

All are so cute. I am not planning to make anything this year. My Kids, Grandkids, Great Grands have lots of quilts from me.

I'm working on putting a pocket on a sweat shirt for my SIL. I got the pocket off some jeans. I made one for DH then SIL saw it and wants one too.
