Mine is my 6th quilt that I completed (first 5 were all crib sized). It is the only quilt I have kept and have a matching sweatshirt jacket made from the scraps. I completed the quilt top in one (long) day at my very first quilt retreat. Since I have white cats, I am not using this quilt. I think I will wait on our upcoming military transfer and dedicate a bare wall to hang it on at our next home.

Mine is a table runner I made for a friend as a house warming gift who was about to deliver her 4th child. I love chickens so thought this was fitting of her daily life.

    It was a fun project.
Hope to make me one sometime.

Your avatar is the picture you have just below your name. We have all picked something meaningful to us. I will be waiting to see when you add a picture! It can be done by going to "my profile". (Check the top of this page for this.) Scroll down to the bottom of the profile page for instructions.

    Quilt Mom,
Thank you for helping me know what your Avatar is all about. I have no idea what I'll put up.......I love my family, Christianity, quilting, lighthouses, the Amish....and my name is a nickname because I even though I am from Alabama and live in Alabama, I grew up in South Texas and cook Mexican food. Don't know what I'll put up.

I could just go on and on about what I really like... hummingbirds, my friends, traveling. My DH loves to go camping, but I tell him not without my sewing machine and computer! However, he's had surgery and won't be camping for a good while. I love this site!!!!!

oh that is beautiful. the one i have at the moment in my avatar is a quilt i did in memory of my cat, Loki, whom we lost at age 17 years.
a friend in Australia sent me the redwork block (a girl holding 3 cats) and i built the quilt around that.
    (i now have 3 cats!!! )
