I think the bargello has too much pattern to be next to the printed panel.
I do like the colors and wonder if the fabrics could be coordinated some other way into the outer border--maybe as cornerstones or piano keys, etc.

Maybe something in between the panel and the bargello, like a small border of dark brown?
Ooops! Didn't see the black! Guess the bargello, while very pretty, is too much for the panel. Something a little less busy might be better.

Colors are wondefrful.
Points up, like the birds in flight.
Too busy/distracting side by side.
Use lots of space between the panel and the bargello if you really want to use it; make the black border MUCH wider.
It's busy but I still really like it somehow, weird!!

Funny, when I looked at the first photo, I was thinking, I wonder if she can post a pic of the bargello pointing down. Well, when I scrolled down I saw you read my mind! I vote for pointing down, but there's a lot of votes for both sides on this one. Keep us up to date.
