I also noticed the bargello first. I think it is too much for the panel.

Too much detail in both to use them together. Especially next to each other.

Ditto on this post. The colors are great with the panel but the bargello is a little too busy! Maybe use the bargello for the back unless it is a wall-hanging.

I think the bargello has too much pattern to be next to the printed panel.

I do like the colors and wonder if the fabrics could be coordinated some other way into the outer border--maybe as cornerstones or piano keys, etc.

Bargello is beautiful, but when you look at both side by side your eyes go to the bargello first.

Maybe something in between the panel and the bargello, like a small border of dark brown?

Ooops! Didn't see the black! Guess the bargello, while very pretty, is too much for the panel. Something a little less busy might be better.

    Colors are wondefrful.
Points up, like the birds in flight.
    Too busy/distracting side by side.
Use lots of space between the panel and the bargello if you really want to use it; make the black border MUCH wider.

It's busy but I still really like it somehow, weird!!

Funny, when I looked at the first photo, I was thinking, I wonder if she can post a pic of the bargello pointing down. Well, when I scrolled down I saw you read my mind! I vote for pointing down, but there's a lot of votes for both sides on this one. Keep us up to date.
