    Dee - will you take a picture of it on the wheelchair today? I would love to see it and how it fits

    Thansk for letting me know ....... The staff specifically asked for a bag for the wheelchair... after much research and modifing of a free pattern ( I always seem to modify patterns to make them more effient to produce,easier to make or more user friendly) , this is what I came up with...

    I'm a retired nurse, with lots of Nursing home/elder/ handicapped experience and I thought it looked like it would met their needs... Our local VFW ( who I work thru) has a w/c at the VFW club , I plan to try it out tomorrow while I'm there... was a bit unsure of how long to make the ties.....

    I'll try to think to take the camera....... LOL everyone will think I'm nuts!!! but , what new there?........ right nwo I have it tied to the railing on our stairs.........

    Ideally they will be on the inside of the wheelchair... but if the size is right, I guess they could be put on the outside.... just have to ck for the wheel clearence.

    I'm sure if you explain you are wanting to take a picture so you can go home and "study" it to see if there is anything you can do differently to make it better - they will love you you doing that :thumbup:

    We freq the place, so " borrowing " their wheelchair wasn't a problem... remembering to take the camera was the issue... Luckily, DH reminded me... it was already packed for the trip to Texas

    perfect for Veterans and for anyone else for that matter. I need to make one for a walker and think that type would work also. Thanks for sharing
