That is wonderful. When I made one for my DGM, I made it 40" x 48", made velco closures to hook on the sides and added a pocket to the top of it so she could put kleenex, chocolate bars and whatever she needed throughout the day. She used it everyday, and unfortunately, when she passed away last year, her lap quilt disappeared. I hope whoever took it, is, atleast using it.

You asked for dimensions of a lap quilt that was recently posted. I also make lap quilts and the dimensions vary. Some people use just a small one, 30 inch square, but normally I make them crib quilt size, 45 X 60 or 36 X 54. Mine are used for Charity donations to Salvation Army. They sell them like hotcakes.
