    I would try to add the name of the school in the bottom gold strip, that way it would add to the size of it. I,too, like it very much. I have the Dick and Jane original book and the fabric. I think I will frame mine. I am really debating about it.

    Well, rest assured my daughter loves it. Whew! Now she'd really like a quilt for the classroom aide. I have no problem with that. I'm going to make them anyway - good to have a purpose.

    The panel ended at the tiny green stripe on the bottom and the tiny red stripe on the top. I added the rest of the stripes to get it to the size the pattern called for.

    Love it....the way you have designed this adds a lot of interest. Beautifully done and will be treasured for sure.
