Default When you cut wrong

I was trying to make this pinwheel block with only using a picture. I didn't think it would be that hard.
I should have made a paper piece but did not. I was measuring and cutting everything seemed to go well until I realized that I cut one piece to short! I guess I could have re-cut, but I really wanted to use what I brought with me, as I was on a retreat. Re-cutting would mean putting it away for over a week.

I decide to flip things inside out and see what would look good. I really like how it came out and there was very little scrap after I messed up. I did document what I did so if I really want I could make more.

Thanks for looking. I really enjoy this forum, I have learned so much here.

I think you should use that block and post directions for the rest of us. What size is it?
