    ... you're fearless! I across an old photo of my first quilt. When I designed it many years ago, I had no clue what it would entail, but plunged ahead. My young cousin didn't know any better and liked it, so that's what mattered. I don't think I would tackle that border today!

    Oh my goodness. My first one was full of "Y" seams! I nearly never got it finished. I used to count how many pieces went into a square and that was how I made my decision. I look at that pattern today and say "NO WAY!". My second one was full of Lamoine stars and I hand quilted it in a spider web design. I am older and wiser now thank goodness!
