So, ok. I bought the Renaissance Turnover pack (Moda) online. When I got it, I thought, aw, cute. Then I rifled through them, and my heart sank. I really didn't care for the colour scheme. I'm a rich, forest green and blue gal, so these washed out colours didn't sit well. So what's a girl to do?
Make a quilt anyway. I miscalculated how many "red" squares I'd need, so I used them up by throwing them in here and there and then piecing some together for another row at the top and bottom.
I'm going to donate it to my son's school bazaar. Hopefully it will find a home where it is loved.

The flimsy - the "red" is really a dark terra cotta.

That's a real pretty quilt. Sure wish I could find one near me with something like that for a raffle. It would look good in the room I'm fixing up for my pink loving sister who's going to visit with me for a while.

You may not have liked the fabric, but you sure did a wonderful job of using it! I like that pattern very much!
