    after paying the $100 for mine, I was disappointed too--it gets caught on the corners, expecially the right front one.
    Now I never thought of using a pillow to add extra heighth for myself. That just might help a little. Wish I had been as clever as you and made mine though.

    Try using a table to your left at the same level as your machine this really helps.
