    Wonderful quilts! My DH would love these as he is Italian and although he was never really interested in how our home was decorated, he has started to think "Mediterranean" for colors, etc,. Did you use the clear thread to stitch around the edges of the pieces?

    Someone asked if I used clear thread or a kit. No, I changed thread for every different color. I bought the patterns on line. I have a lot of batik scraps and I thought this was a good place to use them. However I always end up with more than I started. I love Batiks and can't seem to stop buying them here and there.
