Wow, I love it! The fabric is fabulous, and the pattern choice is perfect to show it off. Great work!

That looks crazy intricate, above my skill level but you did a beautiful job. Now you can tackle anything!

Just back from the quilt shop. Went to look for extra blue fabric for borders as shown on the pattern. Couldn't find anything that matched, and pretty much got talked out of doing the HST pieced border shown on the pattern. Which is where my heart was leading, anyway, as I am so 'done' with this project. It's just a lap quilt anyway, and I agree that it is going to work just to bind it off now (found some pretty backing) in the matching blue, rather than add more complexity to the top. So, yay! Backing fabric in the washer now. Will get it off to the quilters when they are ready. (also, a bit smaller quilt means lower cost to have quilted, so that's cool, too.)
Thank you all, for you kind remarks. The next quilt will be simpler, for a break.

Yours is fabulous and you should be able to accomplish anything now. Beautiful colors, beautifully done. Please be sure and show us the finished project. Wonderful!!! Maybe one day I will get up the courage and tackle one.
