Thanks to all of you for your wonderful comments!! I'll answer some of your questions. First....since so many thought of cake and frosting, I'm naming it "Let Them Eat Cake"! The finished size of the yo-yo(s) is 3' in dia. There are about 780 of them!!! They are attached to each other and not attached to the coverlet under it. And yes, this is one of the guest rooms.....I haven't made a quilt for the other room. Yet!!!! Patti

Clever idea not to attach to the quilt, nice way to change up the colors. I'm sure you meant 3" not 3' is that right?

Yes....I meant 3 inches!!! I can quilt but I can't type!!!!!
