Whirligig quilt two-fer!
This is made from two 2.5" strips - one white and one patterned, and a 60 degree ruler at the 4.5" mark.
A 42" strip yields enough triangles for two of the hexagons - one with the pattern predominant, and one with the white predominant. I birthed this particular quilt, but binding it would not be difficult.
The nice thing is that I am in process of building another quilt using the white hexagons. I may scatter some hexagons with pattern predominant within the whites.
This is a great quilt to teach to beginners as it is put together in rows (no inset seams!!!) and the size can vary from a small round table topper to a table runner to various sized quilts.
