Beautiful quilts. I love the ones with kitties on it, but then I'm a real cat lover. TJ is all black, and I have a pattern with black cats in various poses on a quilt pattern. Guess I'll have to make that soon. Thanks for sharing and especially for making quilts for cats. I really like the fabric for the first one.

I can so relate to what you said. All it takes is to love a cat and then your eyes are always seeking ways to use them in art.
Our kitty Muzzby (as in "I muzz-be nuts to have gotten this cat"... ;) ) passed away last fall and I did the quilt in memory of her. She looked a lot like the second picture down - the mama cat with her kittens. Muzzby was very sweet and always wanted to be where the people were. She stayed playful and cuddly all her life.
I'm really surprised how many have commented on the CatKnip quilt, the pictures I took are so lousy. Makes me think I should make another one and take better photos!

It turned out very lovely. It is always fun to see the end result in a OBW. I too am doing a fall one using an Asian fabric that was a pretty varying blue with flowing leaves. We shall see how it turns out. I chose to do it as an Octagon rather than hexagons. Will post perhaps in late September.
