    :) I agree, so long as there is a clean path to the machine, then the rest is in the creative stage.

    Of course, my 'sewing room' is such a mess, I moved my sewing machine to the dining room table with a desk nearby that now is being piled high with fabric. When I lose DH in all the fabric, I may start to get worried.

    At leaast you have a sewing room. I live in a 1 bedroom apt and my sewing area is the living room! Thankfully am divorced and live alone so no one to complain they can't see the TV!.

    I just finished up a project that took me forever, and my sewing room was a total disaster! I have some other projects on my list, but I wanted to get it cleaned up so I could start fresh and not have extraneous stuff in my way. Now that it's cleaned up, I seem to be totally stuck--just cannot make myself start on a new project! Maybe we need the mess to spur our creativity! Or maybe we need the mess to goad us into finishing projects--after all, there's no point to cleaning it up while you're still working on something!
