Third one. This is a most beautiful quilt if I had all the patterns. I used to manage a little quilt shop and she got in this wedding pattern of hearts with sayings on the hearts. They were all appliqued.

I don't do applique that much but liked the pattern so well, I decided to paint it.

I has some fabric with straw chairs and it went perfect with the blocks. I think there were 12 blocks. If anyone knows who made this pattern, please let me know. When the shop closed, I forgot all about the pattern.

OMG I can hardly wait. Those blocks you painted are awesome.
What an incredible quilt that would be. Are those patterns still available? I would love to try my hand at something like that. I have been going thru books & patterns, I have this urge to do something totally not me but totally extremely advanced. One I really have to work at, to learn, to accomplish. Fall must be on its way. We have a hurricane alert up for MD. and the Chesapeake Bay, that must be what is driving my ambitions.
