Ooooh, these are beautiful. No knowing about the size, I'm thinking the second one could be fussy cut to use in a Baltimore Album peacock block. The first one would make great borders. Or OBW or S&W.
You know, I really am the wrong one to offer an opinion...I love almost all fabrics.

just saw this at piqf in santa clara and wondered the same thing. really wanted it but couldn't bear to cut the wonderful things up. will probably regret later that i did not get it just to admire. it is beautiful.

Beautiful fabric! Appreciate the ideas. Have some other peacock fabrics that I've been wanting to do something with but not sure what pattern.

loveeeeee it! I think a obw using both pieces would be nice. Check out the OBW Encore Book. You will be working with a 12 piece stack.

What about fussy cutting a peacock and using it in the center of the quilt ..I think it would be a lot of fun.and then surrounding it with wonder blocks using both fabrics and some solid colors that are in the quilt. The wonder Blocks are by Terry Martin.I have made both batik and floral on point and it was so much fun.

BQ would be my choice. You can enlarge to fit the bird.

In North Carolina there is a planation with a quilt using peacocks appliqued in each of the 4 corners and a big star in the middle...if I could find this fabric in softer colors I would try to duplicate that one...it was simply gorgeous...will be watching Hoffman and Timeless Treasures sites...thanks for the ifo...memepeggy
