    Yes, that's what a whole cloth quilt is. The design is in blue, usually, and will wash out if you do not leave it in the sun, iron it, etc. It may fade if you leave it in a damp, humid room. I worked on one off and on for 15 years but did finish it for GD # 1 for her wedding. There are places where one can order them and there is at least one company that sell blocks for QAYG with the design on each square.

    How beautiful!!!!!!! I can understand why you are afraid to use it, but that is what you made it for, so USE it and enjoy. Just lovely.

    Absolutely georgeous. I too would put on the guest bed so I could look at it every day. It is far to beautiful to put away.
