    Default 9 nights of quilting

Thank you all for your compliments. It means so much to me! I'm just so excited about this quilt, who it's going to and how it's turning out!

I'm also glad I'm keeping a record of how much I'm getting done and when. It seems like I have a lot more than 9 evenings spent on this quilt (there have been some non-quilting days in there too).

    Enjoy!

I've signed up to take a class in hand quilting a whole cloth and can hardly wait. I've done several needle-turn Hawaiian appliqué but hope to learn something new (like more consistent stitching)..

No pictures today. I did quite a bit of quilting yesterday, but couldn't quilt today. I did move the quilt in the frame, so there's nothing good to take a picture of!!
After 10 nights of quilting, I have the middle of the quilt from one end to the other *almost* done.

I have been puttering away on the quilt. Threads are hanging out everywhere!! Progress is slow. My eyes have been giving me trouble, so some nights, I just can't do it. They're just itchy and water-y but it slows me down a lot!
I haven't taken any pictures because it's just more of the same. I'm just quilting straight lines so the pics are kind of boring! But it's so easy!

We moved my son into the guest room and his old room is my new quilting room/guest room. It's basically a quilting room with a futon in it lol! But my husband actually hangs out with me when I quilt so it's working out well. And I have enough room in there to move around. We have a small room that is mostly empty that will be our Christmas room. After Christmas, I'm not sure what to do with it. And today, I'm going to be painting walls, so my hand will probably be sore and I probably won't be able to work on it this weekend.
Anyway, there's an update... sort of!!

One thing or another is keeping me from working as much on this quilt, but here's what I have so far!

The quilt is still on the frame. It's looking good, but pictures all look the same LOL. I'm just doing all the lines in one direction, then I'm going to turn the quilt in the frame and do the other lines and finish with more of the loopdy-loops in a hoop. I'm more than half finished with the lines in the first direction. Hopefully next week at some point, I'll rotate and start on the other lines.
