this is a beautiful quilt and I'm sure Joe will love it. My husband and I both had been Scoutmaster of our troop and it is quite a job but very rewarding. Our son also made Eagle. Keep encouraging your son as he attains his rank. It it awesome.
    Yours in Scouting.

very pretty! I think we tend to overlook making the men in our lives a special throw or quilt. Nice job!

Nice and masculine. So nice of you to honor Joe's contribution to scouting. Oftentimes, people never get recognized for the wonderful things they do until they die and never know how much they were appreciated.

Wonderful job, I belong to a quilt guild in Flin Flon, Manitoba. We make comfort quilts for families who have lost loved ones, people with cancer, Children who have lost parents in accidents. Also quilts of valor, and quilts of rememberance.
We also make bags for the kids in foster care, so when they move from home to home, they don't have to transport their belongings in garbage bags. We make touch quilts for alshymer victims, please forgive spelling. At our Christmas party every guild member brings an hand pieced and quilted place mat for Meals on Wheels recipients, so they feel thought of as they eat their Christmas meal.
