It's a very pretty top and it will really, really nice when the quilting is done.

I love it because I like big blocks and the soft colors are pretty.

Come on, you know you like it :!: What' not to like :?: You got a deal on the fabric, great colors, it's put together, really is ushering Spring into all of us(especially us in IN as we have had more snow this year than ever before and more is coming) and all of us on the board have sent you tons of positive praise. You can just sit and admire it. Now tell me you don't like it. You were just needing a little push

I like it, I like it - putting the borders on in between visits here...

Here's part of the original post:
My first reaction was disappointment - the blocks are awfully big and I wasn't used to that and the variety of fabrics seemed ... not very varied. But ... I like it! So lessons learned ... big isn't bad and variety is in the eye of the beholder - and I just haven't beholden enough yet!

I chose "Cheaper by the Dozen" for the first quilt my granddaughter and I are still in the process of making. she was wanting to learn to sew. She chose all her fabrics with a little help from me. We have it pieced but need to put 2 borders on it yet. It has turned out a lot better than I thought it would. I'll try to post a picture of it soon.

Would love to see it! I have the inner border on now and am just amazed at how that frame harmonizes everything within it. I'll put the outer border on in a bit.
