Excuse me while I pick my jaw up off the floor!! Those are incredible!!! The first one is gobsmacking phenomenal.
The last one is nothing like I've ever seen --the odd shapes are unique and must take enormous skill to turn a Turkish design into a quilt--all those odd shapes must take enormous skill to create and then piece.

I chuckled at Wrinkly/Irony.

Wow, those are spectacular quilts! I cannot even imagine the time put into them...so much detail. Truly talented quilters and beautiful works of art.

Nice to look at for sure....but I want a quilt to be used. Doubt if any of these will ever see a bed.

Quilts are amazing - but, Shipshewana is also amazing. Everyone put it on your places to go - Love, love, love it there. Our Guild usually has a retreat there once a year.

Do you know who made the Turkish looking blue quilt in your last photo? Was it Pat Holly, by any chance? She won Best of Show in Paducah this past Spring with a gorgeous Turkish design quilt. Just wondering if this was another work of hers.

Pat Holley has won many BOS awards. She is the sister of another famous quilter, Sue Nichols.
Sorry, I didn't have time to check out the info cards for the quilts. My husband and brother in law were waiting in the car for me so I had to make it quick. Next time I'm going by myself or with a quilting friend!

By the way, I didn't type "Wholeness Quilt Show" in the subject. I typed "Shipshewanna Quilt Show" but auto -correct changed it to "Wholeness" for some reason and I didn't notice it until it was too late to change it. Sometimes I just don't get that auto-correct!

I was there yesterday too. Such over stimulation. But my favorite was the apron quilt.
