Brown is a great color - so much warmth and earthiness. Your quilts are lovely! Now orange? THAT's a color I have trouble with.

Some people don't love grey or yellow - whatever. Personally, I don't have a real aversion to brown, but if I were choosing a color for a quilt, brown would be pretty far down the list.

I think it's because we see so many "browns" in quilting that we get tired of it?
I love those two u showed us . I tend to love the more colorful ones now.

Funny, I love pinks and greens but don't care for yellow and orange, funny how different we all are. I have very little brown but only because I use it all up when I get it! Lol!

LOL! Actually, no... I don't own a single piece of clothing that's brown or gold. I wear a lot of black, purple, watermellon, winter colors. I just like autumn colors in quilts upon occasion. But then, I like almost every color in quilts. I was just taken by the thought that so many people seemed to be against the color brown that I thought to start a debate about it! *giggle*

Your quilts are very pretty. Many years ago when we did garment sewing, the browns and purples had like a dusty tone to them. The colors now are so much brighter, and true colors.

I love brown. I like the Fall colors. I'm finding I love just about all the colors.

Those are very pretty quilts. I love brown, although never did one in that color. I think it is time.
