    There is a festival near here in August. Not nearly as many as you saw. They catch and tag them and release. So much fun. Take grandkids when I can. Wish I could get closer to their migration route. Just love these little birds to death.

    I wanted to go to one last spring in Idaho but it got rained out. I will definitely try to go next year. Your pictures are absolutely gorgeous. What a fun weekend event.

    Thanks so, much. I understand Idaho has beautiful birds of all kinds. Just seeing so many hummingbirds is fantastic. I was so intent on getting individual closeups that I failed to get some of the huge crowd pictures I should have taken. It was amazing to see 15-20 hummers at each feeder--and 10 or 12 feeders grouped together.

    Excellant reason to not quilt. Beautiful pictures. Thanks for sharing this with us. Now I want to drive there next time myself. My MIl lives behind us and she always has lots of them all around her feeders. Fun to watch.
